How Dreame's range is organised
Dreame names its lines by letter and its docks by suffix. X is the flagship series, with a retractable LiDAR turret and the highest published suction; Aqua10 is the roller-mop family; Matrix10 sits between them; L is the long-running mid-range, from the L10s to the L60; D is the entry level. "Ultra" means the full dock, which empties the bin, washes and dries the mops and refills the water. The two-letter suffixes (AE, CE, PE, FE) are market versions whose published figures differ from the base model, which is why we list them separately.
X: the flagships
The X60 Pro Ultra Complete and X60 Pro Master publish 42,000 Pa, a 52 mm threshold and a 21 mm mop lift, the highest figures in the range; the Master's dock is plumbed in. The X60 Max Ultra Complete and X60 Ultra are 80 mm machines with two-camera obstacle recognition, and the X50 Ultra is the previous generation at 20,000 Pa with the same retracting turret.
Aqua10 and Matrix10: the roller mops and the middle
The Aqua10 Roller is the highest-scoring Dreame we list: 30,000 Pa, a roller that lifts 14 mm and extends to the wall, a 42 mm threshold, and a fixed turret that makes it 120 mm tall. The Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete is the same roller under a retracting turret at 98 mm, the Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete a 25,000 Pa variant, and the Aqua10 Roller AE the market version with structured-light obstacle detection. The Matrix10 Ultra and Matrix10 Pro carry dual spinning mops at 30,000 Pa, with the retracting turret on the Ultra only.
L and D: the mid-range and the entry level
The L line runs from the L60 Pro Ultra and L60 Ultra, both 35,000 Pa with the retracting turret, through the L50s Pro Ultra and L40 Ultra Gen 2 to the L10s Ultra Gen 3, all with the full dock; the AE, CE, PE and FE versions publish lower suction or simpler obstacle detection. The D line is where the dock gets simpler: the D30 Ultra still washes and dries the mops, the D20 Air Plus only empties the bin, and the D20 Pro has no dock.
What to check before buying a Dreame
- Height. The X60 Max Ultra Complete and X60 Ultra are 80 mm; the other retracting-turret models are 89 to 98 mm; the Aqua10 Roller's fixed turret makes it 120 mm.
- Thresholds. Dreame publishes a climb figure for most models: 52 mm on the X60 Pro pair, 45 mm on the X60 Max and X60 Ultra, 42 mm on the Aqua10, Matrix10 Ultra and X50 Ultra, and 20 to 22 mm where the L and D lines publish one.
- Roller or pads. The Aqua10 models mop with a roller; every other Dreame uses two spinning pads. The X60 Pro and Max models, the X50 Ultra, both Matrix10 and the L60 Pro Ultra leave them at the dock before carpet; the rest lift them.
- Markets. Several models exist as AE, CE, PE or FE versions sold in particular countries. Check the product page for your edition's figures and price before assuming the base model's apply.
