Dreame D20 review
The plain D20: 13,000 Pa, a tangle-free DuoBrush, a 700 ml bin, a flat mop pad on a 350 ml tank, 20 mm sills and 285 minutes a charge, on a charging dock with no obstacle sensor named.

Our verdict
The D20 is the simplest robot of its family here, built around capacity. The bin holds 700 ml, more than the 500 ml of the D20 Plus and D20 Pro Plus, the tank 350 ml with 32 wetness levels, and the 5,200 mAh battery is rated for 285 minutes of vacuuming and mopping. Suction is 13,000 Pa behind a DuoBrush certified tangle-free, and it maps with Smart Pathfinder navigation and 360° scanning. Against the D20 Pro it gives up the extending side brush and the line laser: the page names no obstacle sensor and no carpet boost, so the floor has to be clear before it runs. The mop is a flat pad that does not lift, and the dock only charges. The German page prints no warranty term, map count, noise figure or charging time. It crosses 20 mm sills, stands 96.9 mm tall and weighs 3.51 kg. German shop only, in white or black.

In detail
Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 13,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 105 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. The onboard bin holds 700 ml.
Mopping
Mop system: static pad. The mop does not lift for carpet. The onboard water tank holds 350 ml.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with none. It climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. That is less than most of the 65 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
There is no self-emptying dock: the bin is emptied by hand.
Battery, charging and noise
One charge runs up to 4 h 45 min. The manufacturer publishes no noise figure.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
