Our verdict
The Q7 M5 is the Roborock that answers one question: how little can a robot cost and still map properly. It navigates by LiDAR, remembers several floors, boosts suction on carpet and carries the same JawScrapers anti-tangle comb as its dearer siblings, and its 10,000 Pa motor is the same figure the Q10 line quotes. Everything else is the minimum. The mop is a pad dragged behind the robot with an electric tank and three flow levels, no lift and no spin; the dock is a charger; and there is no obstacle sensor of any kind, so a sock on the floor is a sock in the brush. The 3,200 mAh battery takes three to four hours to charge and Roborock gives no runtime, noise, bin or tank figure. At €139.99, 599 zł or $149.99 it is a mapped vacuum for the price of a decent stick vacuum, and that is the whole argument.
