About RoboVerdict
RoboVerdict ranks home and garden robots from the specifications their manufacturers publish, in English, Polish and German. This page says what that means, who does it and how the site is paid for.
What the site is
RoboVerdict is a catalogue of robot vacuums, robot mowers, pool robots and window robots, each with a page that transcribes the manufacturer's specifications, links to their source, computes a Verdict Score from them and says who the machine suits. Products can be compared side by side, and the rankings order them for one need at a time: pet hair, thresholds, slopes, value.
The site launched in September 2026 with more than 130 machines and grows as manufacturers publish new ones. Three editions share one catalogue: roboverdict.com in English, pl.roboverdict.com in Polish and de.roboverdict.com in German, each with prices in its own currency from the manufacturers' own shops.
How a verdict is made
Every figure comes from the manufacturer's product page, datasheet or press material, retrieved on a recorded date and cited on the product page. The Verdict Score is computed from those figures by a scoring engine per category with published weights; a commission, a brand's wishes or a reader's opinion are not inputs and cannot become one. A machine whose manufacturer publishes no suction figure or no navigation type is not scored, because a score built on guesses would be worth nothing. Where a single field is missing, the page prints "not published" and the score says how much of it rests on published data.
The words on a product page are drafted by software from the structured data, including language models, and read, corrected and approved by the editor before publication. Rankings and articles carry his responsibility. No manufacturer or retailer sees a text before it goes live.
Who is behind it
RoboVerdict is published by Codently Maciej Ziółko, a Polish company, and edited by its founder, Maciej Ziółko. His profile explains what he does and does not do; in short, he builds and edits, and he has not tested the machines himself.
How the site is paid for
Affiliate commissions: when a reader follows a link to a shop and buys, the shop pays the site a share. The price the reader pays is the same. Which shops pay, and how that is kept apart from the rankings, is on the affiliate disclosure page.
