Verdict
The Roborock Saros 20 has the higher Verdict Score, 86 to 84.
These two share the important mechanics. Both carry dual spinning mops that extend to the skirting and are left at the dock before carpet, both docks empty the bin, wash and dry the pads and refill the water, and both recognise obstacles with a camera fused with 3D sensing. The differences are in the body and in the figures each maker publishes.
The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete publishes more suction, 42,000 Pa against 36,000, lifts its mops 21 mm, and climbs a 52 mm threshold where the Roborock is rated for 45 mm. It also states a runtime of 232 minutes and a 100-day dust bag; Roborock publishes neither. The Roborock Saros 20 navigates with a time-of-flight camera array instead of a LiDAR turret, which is why it is 80 mm tall against the Dreame's 89 mm, and it publishes a carpet boost mode and a one-year warranty.
On our engine the Roborock is ahead, 86 to 84, because its cleaning subscore is higher. In practice the choice is the home: a flat with low sofas and beds favours the 80 mm Roborock; a house with high door thresholds and a lot of mopping favours the Dreame. Check the price row below, because the gap between the two changes a lot between markets.
