Our verdict
The most complete robot vacuum Roborock currently sells, and the one that finally drops the turret. StarSight maps with a solid-state time-of-flight array and a camera rather than a spinning laser, which is what brings the body down to 80 mm, low enough for most sofas, while still seeing in an unlit room. Carpet is handled the sensible way: rather than lifting the mop a few millimetres, the robot leaves the module on the dock, raises its chassis to clear 30 mm of pile, and goes back for the mop later. What you are paying for is the dock, which washes at 100 °C, dries with warm air at 55 °C, doses detergent and refills the tank. What you are not told is the bin or tank capacity, because Roborock publishes neither, and the warranty is a single year.

The manufacturer rates the suction at 36,000 Pa. That is more than 87% of the 111 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: twin spinning pads. For carpet runs it leaves the mop at the dock. The mop swings out to reach along walls.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by solid-state 3D ToF + camera and avoids obstacles with camera + depth sensor. It climbs thresholds up to 45 mm. That is more than 82% of the 69 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
