Our verdict
The most complete robot vacuum Roborock currently sells, and the one that finally drops the turret. StarSight maps with a solid-state time-of-flight array and a camera rather than a spinning laser, which is what lets the body come down to 80 mm — low enough for most sofas — while still seeing in an unlit room. The mopping answer is the right one too: rather than lifting the mop a few millimetres over carpet, it leaves the module on the dock and goes back for it. What you are paying for is the dock, which washes at 100 °C, dries with warm air and refills the tank; what you are not told is the bin or tank capacity, because Roborock does not publish either.
