Robot vacuums whose dock washes the mop with water at 70 °C or hotter, by the makers' own figures, ordered by temperature and then by score.
Ordered by the temperature the dock washes the mop with, hottest first, with the weighted score deciding between equal figures; a dock that washes cold, or that promises hot water and gives no number, is not on the list. The figure is the maker's published claim for the dock's heater, not a temperature measured at the pad. What the heat is for is plain enough: hot water loosens grease and dried-on dirt that cold water only spreads around, so more of it leaves the mop in the wash, and a mop with less left in it has less to turn sour before the next run. Our guide to docks explains the dock's other jobs, the guide to roller mops and spinning pads covers what is being washed, and the mopping ranking weighs the whole mopping system rather than this one figure.
