Our verdict
The X50 Ultra is the robot that brought retracting legs to the market, and a year on it is the affordable way to get them. ProLeap lifts it over a 4.2 cm sill or a 6 cm double step, the VersaLift turret drops the height to 89 mm, and an AI camera with structured light recognises 200 obstacle types. Suction is 20,000 Pa, which the X60 Pro has since more than doubled, but the rest of the sheet is complete in a way Dreame's newer pages often are not: a 395 ml bin, a 6,400 mAh battery rated for 220 minutes in quiet mixed mode and 205 m² of vacuuming, a built-in voice assistant, and main and side brushes that lift 5 and 10 mm. The pads extend 4 cm, lift 10.5 mm and come off for carpet, and the dock washes at up to 80 °C on four settings, dries with hot air, refills, doses detergent, treats mops and bag with UV and holds dust for 100 days. At 2,999 zł in Poland it matches the Aqua10 Ultra Roller as the cheapest robot here with both legs and a retracting turret; Dreame's American shop prices the white one at $1,599.99 and the black at $1,999.99, and the German shop sells it refurbished only.
Pros
- Legs for 4.2 cm sills and 6 cm double steps, with a retracting turret, for 2,999 zł
- 89 mm with the turret down
- Full sheet: 395 ml bin, 6,400 mAh, 220 minutes, 205 m²
- Pads extend, lift and detach; dock washes at 80 °C, dries, refills, doses detergent, UV
- Built-in voice assistant
Cons
- 20,000 Pa, half of what the X60 Pro claims
- No noise figure or water tank size
- Two American prices for two colours, and no new unit in Germany
- AI camera plus structured light rather than two cameras
Best for
- Homes with sills and low furniture on a mid-range budget
- Buyers who want a complete specification, not a marketing sheet
Not recommended for
- Deep carpet, where 20,000 Pa without a boost is modest
- German readers, who get a refurbished unit or nothing
