Our verdict
The E50 Pro Ultra spends its money on the motor and the dock. Suction is 30,000 Pa, the same figure as the P70 Pro Ultra for less money, and the dock washes the pads at 100 °C, dries them at 63 °C within an hour, refills from a 5 litre tank good for 700 m², doses detergent and empties for 100 days. The pads press at 12 N, spin at 260 rpm, reach the edge and lift 10.5 mm over rugs. What it saves on is sensing: an LDS turret on a 97 mm body and a front laser for obstacles, with no camera, no object count and no threshold stated, a hard-bristle main brush with the anti-tangle CleanChop as a paid extra, and no voice control or runtime on the page. For a tidy home it is a strong-suction robot with a full dock at a fair price.
