Our verdict
The Freo 20 sits between the Flow and the Flow 2 and takes the best of each: the Flow 2's 31,000 Pa motor and 100 °C dock wash, and a FlowWash track mop that Narwal says is seven times wider than a pad, fed with water heated to 60 °C. The two 1080p cameras do more than dodge: TwinAI Dodge tells dry debris from a liquid spill and switches strategy, boosting suction for crumbs and mopping back and forth for a puddle, and it detects objects down to 5 mm. A 40 mm threshold, a 95 mm body, 120 days of dust storage, hot-air drying at 60 °C, multi-level maps and a 30-minute top-up that Narwal rates for 86 more minutes make it an easy machine to live with, and 56.9 dB in quiet mode is a rare published noise figure. The gaps are the usual Narwal ones: no battery capacity, bin, tank or runtime, no carpet pressure plate and no mop lift stated, so carpet is where the Flow 2 earns its extra €100.
