Find a robot vacuum for your home

A few questions about your floors and furniture. Skip any that do not matter to you.

How the finder decides

  • Rugs or carpet: the maker must list a mop that lifts or stays behind at the dock, unless the robot has no mop at all. For mostly carpet the published suction must also reach 8,000 Pa, the minimum our carpet ranking sets.
  • Camera: wanting one means the robot must recognise obstacles with a camera. Ruling one out excludes a camera anywhere on the robot, in the navigation, in the obstacle sensor or behind a pet-recognition claim, the same rule as our ranking of robot vacuums without a camera.
  • Low furniture: the height the maker publishes, with a retracting LiDAR lowered. Published for 100 of 110; for the others the card says the height is not published.
  • Door sills: the climbing height the maker publishes must reach the top of your sills. Published for 68 of 110; for the others the card says it is not published.
  • Budget: the current price in US dollars that the machine's card shows. We have one for 51 of 110; a machine without one never counts as within budget and is listed separately.

Machines that meet every answer are listed by their Verdict Score, which we work out from the makers' published specifications; the finder adds no score of its own.

A figure the maker does not publish is shown as not published. It is never guessed and never counts against a machine.

A feature the maker does not list counts as missing, and the card says that the maker does not list it.

When fewer than three machines meet every answer, the finder adds the ones that miss a single answer by one step and says by how much.
