Our verdict

The L60 Ultra takes the X60's eyes and body and leaves its legs behind. The turret retracts so the robot is 89 mm tall, two AI cameras with side-mounted structured light recognise more than 280 object types, and suction is 35,000 Pa with a boost when carpet is detected, behind a DuoBrush certified tangle-free. Thresholds are the ordinary kind, 2.2 cm single or 4 cm double, which is the whole difference from the X60 Ultra and most of the price gap to it. The two spinning pads lift 10.5 mm and are fed from an 80 ml tank that the dock refills; the dock also washes at 100 °C through 20 nozzles, dries with 45 °C air, doses detergent straight onto the pads and holds dust for 100 days. The battery is 5,200 mAh with faster charging, quoted without a runtime, and the page gives no bin, noise or map count. At €899 in Germany or $1,299.99 in America it is the sensible buy for a flat without steps.

Pros

  • 89 mm with the turret down, two AI cameras with structured light, 280+ objects
  • 35,000 Pa with a carpet boost and a certified tangle-free DuoBrush
  • 100 °C wash, 45 °C drying, refill, detergent onto the pads, 100 days of dust
  • 5,200 mAh with faster charging
  • €899, against $1,499.99 for the X60 Ultra

Cons

  • 2.2 cm sills only, no legs
  • Pads neither extend nor detach
  • No runtime, bin or noise figure
  • Built-in voice assistant promised by a later update

Best for

  • Single-floor flats with low furniture
  • Buyers who want X60 sensing without paying for climbing

Not recommended for

  • Homes with door sills above 2 cm
  • Deep-pile rugs, where the pads do not come off
