Our verdict
The L50 Ultra brings the ProLeap legs of Dreame's X series to the L line: it climbs a 4.2 cm sill or a 6 cm double step, where the L50 Pro Ultra, with the same 19,500 Pa, stops at 22 mm. The trade is height: its LiDAR is fixed, so the body is 97 mm tall, against the Pro's 89.5 mm with the turret down. An RGB camera with structured light recognises more than 180 object types, people and pets. The side brush extends and lifts, and the two pads extend, lift 10.5 mm and detach. The dock washes at up to 75 °C, reads the colour of the wash water and sends the robot back, dries with hot air, refills and holds dust for 100 days. 6,400 mAh give 200 minutes in quiet mode, and the warranty is three years. In stock in America; the Polish listing was sold out.

In detail
Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 19,500 Pa. That is about the middle of the field. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically. The onboard bin holds 395 ml.
Mopping
Mop system: twin spinning pads. For carpet runs it leaves the mop at the dock. The mop swings out to reach along walls.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with camera + depth sensor. It climbs thresholds up to 42 mm. That is more than 69% of the 65 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app. It recognises pet waste and steers round it.
The dock
The dock empties the bin, washes and dries the mop and refills the water tank. The dust bag lasts about 100 days.
Battery, charging and noise
One charge runs up to 3 h 20 min. The manufacturer publishes no noise figure.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
