Our verdict
The D20 Pro is the budget Dreame that keeps three things worth keeping: a LiDAR that maps, a single line laser that spots obstacles, and the DuoBrush that Dreame has had certified tangle-free. Suction is 13,000 Pa across five levels, with a boost when the ultrasonic sensor finds carpet, the side brush extends into corners, and the 5,200 mAh battery is rated for 285 minutes of vacuuming and mopping. The mop is a removable pad dragged behind the robot with no lift, so rugs are a no-mop-zone job, the dock is a charger, and the page names no voice control, no bin size and no noise figure. It crosses 2 cm thresholds, stands 97 mm tall and weighs 3.5 kg. It is sold through the Polish shop; the US shop sells a D20 Pro Plus with an auto-empty dock instead. A budget robot that sees an obstacle before it hits it.

Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 13,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 114 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: static pad. The mop does not lift for carpet.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with structured light. It climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. That is less than most of the 71 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
There is no self-emptying dock: the bin is emptied by hand.
Battery, charging and noise
One charge runs up to 4 h 45 min. The manufacturer publishes no noise figure.
