Our verdict

The L10s Pro Gen 2 is the generation before the L10s Pro Gen 3, and the two share most of a sheet: the 97 mm, 3.74 kg body, the 5,200 mAh battery rated for 155 minutes and 145 m² in quiet mode, the 470 ml bin, the 300 ml tank, two spinning pads that lift 7 mm and a small charging dock. The Gen 3 has 13,000 Pa where this one has 7,000. The Gen 2 answers with two things its successor's page does not claim: 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance, which spots objects such as shoes and steers round them, and an ultrasonic sensor that raises suction on carpet and lowers it again. It stores four maps, and the tank lasts over 105 minutes of mopping. The pads stay on, and Dreame advises leaving out pile over 3 mm while they are fitted. No threshold height, warranty or noise figure is printed; the manual puts a full charge at about six hours. German shop only.

Pros

  • 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance and an ultrasonic carpet boost
  • Two spinning mops on a 300 ml tank, over 105 minutes of mopping
  • 470 ml bin and four stored maps
  • 155 minutes and 145 m² a charge

Cons

  • 7,000 Pa against the Gen 3's 13,000
  • 7 mm mop lift; Dreame advises against pile over 3 mm with the pads on
  • No self-emptying and no mop washing
  • No threshold height, warranty or noise figure published

Best for

  • Hard-floor flats with shoes and chair legs in the way
  • Homes with up to four floors to map

Not recommended for

  • Rugs and carpets with the mops fitted
  • Anyone who wants the bin emptied for them

In detail

Suction and brushes

The manufacturer rates the suction at 7,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 107 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the rubber type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically. The onboard bin holds 470 ml.

Mopping

Mop system: twin spinning pads. It lifts the mop 7 mm over carpet. The onboard water tank holds 300 ml.

Navigation and obstacles

It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with structured light. It stores 4 floor plans. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.

The dock

There is no self-emptying dock: the bin is emptied by hand.

Battery, charging and noise

One charge runs up to 2 h 35 min. A full charge takes about 6 h. The manufacturer publishes no noise figure.
