Our verdict
The D30 Ultra puts a dock that washes and empties under a budget robot, and it is worth knowing what that dock skips. It empties into a 3.2 litre bag for 100 days, washes the pads on a 20-nozzle board that Dreame calls hot without saying how hot, and dries them with 50 °C air; it does not refill the robot's tank or dose detergent by the page's account. The robot is honest mid-range: 25,000 Pa, a TriCut brush that Dreame rates at 100 percent detangling, pads at 160 rpm that swing 4 cm to the edge and lift 10.5 mm for rugs, a laser rather than a camera for obstacles, 2 cm thresholds, four stored maps and 230 minutes in quiet mode from a battery whose size is not published. The 37 dB figure on the page belongs to a noise-reduction mode, so it stays out of the comparison. At $539.99 in America it is a fair price; the German listing at €399 was sold out when read.
