The D30 Ultra CE is the cheapest way into Dreame's PowerDock 2.0 in America, and the dock carries the review: 20 heated nozzles scrub the twin spinning mops, the pads dry in room air at a quiet 37 dB, the robot refills from a 4.5 l tank and the bin empties into a 3.2 l bag for 100 days. The robot behind it is sensible rather than exciting: 25,000 Pa from a rubber brush, with the hair-cutting TriCut sold separately, mops that lift 10.5 mm for carpet with boost, intensive and avoidance modes, LiDAR mapping for four floors and 3DAdapt dynamic laser sensing that steers round furniture but recognises nothing, and 2 cm thresholds. It weighs 3.82 kg, runs on a 5,200 mAh battery with no published runtime, takes Google and Siri commands and carries a three-year warranty. Dreame prints no dimensions or noise for the robot itself. Against the L40 Ultra Gen 2 at $569.99, which adds the TriCut brush, extending mops and hot-air drying, the D30 Ultra CE is the one to skip unless it is the cheaper of the two on the day.
