Our verdict
The Freo X10 Pro is Narwal's entry-level machine, and the surprise is how much dock comes with it: self-emptying into a bag for 120 days, mop washing and drying, all in one station. The robot navigates by LiDAR, mops with two spinning pads that extend into corners and along toe-kicks, and pairs a dynamic side brush with a conical floating roller brush built not to wrap hair. Suction is 11,000 Pa, a third of the Flow 2's, and the 5,000 mAh battery, 3.7 kg and 108 mm height are published where Narwal's flagships leave blanks. The trade-off is sight: obstacles are sensed by forward structured light, which notices that something lies on the floor without recognising what it is, so a cable and a doorstop get the same berth and there is no camera to keep the robot clear of pet waste. The pads lift 12 mm over carpet, a carpet boost mode is listed and the published threshold is 20 mm. For a flat with hard floors kept tidy, it is the budget route into Narwal's dock system.

Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 11,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 114 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: twin spinning pads. It lifts the mop 12 mm over carpet. The mop swings out to reach along walls.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with structured light. It climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. That is less than most of the 71 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
The dock empties the bin, washes and dries the mop and refills the water tank. The dust bag lasts about 120 days.
