Our verdict
The MINI is the Winbot for the panes the others cannot get onto. At 215 mm square and 55 mm thick it fits glass as small as 22 by 25 cm, and at 1.3 kg it weighs the same as the MOVA N1. Instead of a spray, an ultrasonic atomiser lays a 10-micron mist from four nozzles out of a 60 ml tank rated for 25 m²; there are three modes on a WIN-SLAM 3.0 route that resumes and returns to its start, frame detection from 3 mm, obstacle detection from 4 mm, and removable bumpers that let it cover 99.5% of the pane. Suction is a respectable 7,500 Pa in standard mode and 3,200 Pa on the move, and a 3,000 mAh internal battery holds it on the glass for 30 minutes after a power cut. It is corded: 3.5 m from the power unit plus a 1.2 m mains lead, with a 3.3 m rope. Ecovacs claims neither pressure compensation nor corner cleaning, and at about three minutes a square metre it is the slowest Winbot with a published figure.
