Our verdict
The LUBA mini 2 is the small-garden LUBA done properly. It keeps the things that made the mini worth having — independent motors on all four wheels, an 80% slope rating, a 15 kg chassis — and fixes the two that were not: the RTK antenna is gone, replaced by network RTK over the bundled 4G and three cameras, and there is finally an edge-cutting disc, a 120 mm blade set on the side that reaches to 5.5 cm from a wall. Ten zones, 150 minutes a charge, rain detection and a three-year warranty complete a spec that reads like a machine twice the price. The trade-offs are honest ones: a 200 mm main deck, no LiDAR so it still wants open sky, and Mammotion states no passage width, no tracking and no PIN lock for it.
