Our verdict
The LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000 is the small-garden LUBA with its two old faults fixed. The RTK antenna is gone, replaced by network RTK over the bundled 4G and three cameras, and there is at last an edge disc: a 120 mm blade set beside the 200 mm main disc, fixed at 50 mm, reaching to 5.5 cm from a wall. The rest is what made the mini worth having: independent motors on all four wheels, an 80% slope rating and a 15 kg chassis. Mammotion lists 150 minutes and 430 m² per charge from the 6.1 Ah battery, a 150-minute recharge, an 88 W cutting motor, obstacles detected from 2.5 × 2.5 cm, rain detection, ten zones and a three-year warranty. The gaps are plain: 1,000 m² takes several sessions on a 200 mm deck, no LiDAR means it still wants open sky, and Mammotion publishes no passage width, battery voltage, tracking or PIN lock for it.
