Verdict
Both score 83/100. The difference is what each is built for.
Both score 83 on our engine, both are all-wheel drive for 1,000 m², both position by network RTK with a camera and cut to the edge, and both publish a three-year warranty. Noise is level, 59 dB against 58. The split is between positioning and terrain.
The Segway Navimow i210 LiDAR Pro adds LiDAR to RTK and the camera, so it keeps a fix under trees, and it detects obstacles by fusing the laser with the camera, which takes its obstacle-avoidance subscore to 100 against 79. It cuts 220 mm wide against 200 mm, publishes 20 zones and theft protection with a PIN lock. The Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000 is rated for 80% slopes against 55%, runs 150 minutes against 75, publishes a rain sensor, and lists lower.
Choose by the garden. Steep banks and a long single run favour the LUBA mini. Tree cover, clutter on the lawn and a wish for the best obstacle detection favour the Segway, whose three-sensor positioning is the more complete system. On a flat, open, tidy lawn the LUBA mini gives the same score for less money.
