Our verdict
The A3 AWD is Dreame's LiDAR mower on four driven wheels. There is no RTK antenna to site and no wire to bury: a 360° LiDAR with 50 m of range maps the garden by itself, and two cameras recognise more than 300 object types, so the mower does not depend on a satellite fix under trees. The drivetrain is the strong part of the sheet: 80% slopes, 5.5 cm obstacles and passages of 60 cm, with 150 zones in the app and EdgeMaster pushing the disc out to leave under 5 cm at a border. The cut is a modest 20 cm, adjustable from 3 to 10 cm in 0.5 cm steps. Dreame publishes neither a runtime nor a charging time for the 5 Ah battery, the 4G data is free for one year, and the mower is sold through the US store; the European shops list only the Pro.

It can manage up to 150 zones. The narrowest passage it takes is 60 cm wide. All of its wheels are driven.
Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 200 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
The manufacturer states 63 dB. That is higher than most of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure. The manufacturer publishes no runtime figure.
Safety and theft
