Our verdict
The Q7 M5+ is the self-emptying counterpart of the Q7 M5, sold with Roborock's RockDock Plus: a 212 × 178 × 259 mm base that sucks the bin out into a 2.7 l bag Roborock rates for up to seven weeks. Its published figures otherwise match the Q7 M5's: 10,000 Pa with a carpet boost, a JawScrapers comb on the anti-tangle main brush, an anti-tangle side brush, and PreciSense LiDAR that keeps maps of several floors. The mop is a pad dragged at steady pressure with three water levels; it neither lifts, spins nor vibrates, so rugs are best fenced off with a no-go zone when it mops. No obstacle sensor is named, which leaves cables and socks to the bumper, and sills stop at 2 cm. The 3,200 mAh battery comes with no runtime, the weight on the American page includes the dock, and the warranty there is one year. Against the Q7 L5+, the same idea, it adds 2,000 Pa.

In detail
Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 10,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 105 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: static pad. The mop does not lift for carpet.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with none. It climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. That is less than most of the 65 robot vacuums with a published figure. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
The dock empties the bin. The dust bag lasts about 49 days.
Battery, charging and noise
The manufacturer publishes neither a runtime nor a noise figure.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
