Our verdict
The Q10 X5+ is the self-emptying counterpart of the Q10 X5, sold with the RockDock Plus: a 212 × 178 × 259 mm base that empties the bin into a 2.7 l bag Roborock rates for more than seven weeks. On paper that makes it the Q10 S5+ with a different mop: here a pad that lifts on its own when a carpet sensor sees a rug, there a VibraRise pad that also vibrates. Suction is 10,000 Pa with a boost on carpet, the main and side brushes are anti-tangle, PreciSense LiDAR maps up to four floors, and Reactive Tech structured light steers round clutter, the obstacle sensor the Q7 M5+ goes without. The battery is 5,200 mAh, as on the X5, but the American page quotes no runtime or threshold height, and its weight includes the dock. The dock does not wash or dry the pad. The warranty in the US is one year, and a DEEP+ slow-mopping mode is promised by software update.

In detail
Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 10,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 105 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: static pad. It lifts the mop over carpet.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with structured light. It stores 4 floor plans. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
The dock empties the bin. The dust bag lasts about 49 days.
Battery, charging and noise
The manufacturer publishes neither a runtime nor a noise figure.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
