Our verdict
The Q10 S5+ is the budget Roborock that keeps the parts that matter day to day. It maps with LiDAR and stores several floors, it sees obstacles with structured light, which the cheaper Q7 line does without, and its RockDock Plus empties the bin into a bag for about seven weeks. The mop is a vibrating VibraRise 2.0 pad that lifts itself when the robot detects carpet, where suction also boosts, and the JawScrapers comb on the main brush is there for hair. Suction is 10,000 Pa, the 5,200 mAh battery is rated for 150 minutes and 180 m², and the whole thing is 99 mm tall. What the dock does not do is wash or dry the mop, so a pad you mop with is a pad you rinse yourself, and Roborock publishes no bin, tank, noise or lift figure. At €199.99, 1,099 zł or $329.99 it is the least you can pay in this catalogue for LiDAR, a camera-free obstacle sensor and a dust bag in one box.
