Our verdict
The E40 Ultra is the entry point to a full dock in MOVA's E series, and it shares the 19,000 Pa motor and 75-day bag of the P50 Ultra while adding a front laser, a stated lift height and a quoted runtime. Suction rises when the ultrasonic sensor finds carpet, the pad extends 4 cm and lifts 10.5 mm, and a single laser in front of the LDS turret spots obstacles, though not by type. The 5,200 mAh battery is rated for 260 minutes and 220 m² in quiet mode, and the dock washes, dries with warm air, refills from 4.5 litres and empties for 75 days. No wash temperature, detergent module, weight or noise is stated, thresholds are 2.2 cm, and the main brush is the plain one, with the CleanChop 3.0 as a paid extra. For a large hard-floor flat on a budget it is the full-dock pick.

Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 19,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 114 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the rubber type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically. The onboard bin holds 300 ml.
Mopping
Mop system: twin spinning pads. It lifts the mop 10 mm over carpet. The mop swings out to reach along walls.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with structured light. It climbs thresholds up to 22 mm. That is about the middle of the field. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
The dock empties the bin, washes and dries the mop and refills the water tank. The dust bag lasts about 75 days.
Battery, charging and noise
One charge runs up to 4 h 20 min. The manufacturer publishes no noise figure.
