Our verdict
With the W2S OMNI, Ecovacs answers the oldest complaint about square window robots: the corners. A TruEdge scrubber drops when the machine reaches a frame and spins at up to 200 rpm into the corner a cloth cannot reach, and a Quad-Edge mode works the four edges to within 1.1 cm. Against the W2 PRO OMNI, suction rises to 8,000 Pa in standard mode and 3,000 Pa on the move, with automatic pressure compensation, and the tank grows to 80 ml for 50 m² a fill. The station is the same idea: a 5.2 kg base with a 4,500 mAh battery for 110 minutes without a socket, about 65 m² in fast mode, an auto-winding composite cable, a suction cup rated at over 800 N and a 30-minute reserve if the power fails. It plans with WIN-SLAM 4.0, resumes after an interruption, returns to its start, handles panes tilted up to 45° and gives voice prompts. At 1.95 kg it is heavier than the W2 PRO OMNI, at 68 dB it is as loud as a Winbot gets, and Ecovacs publishes neither a mode count nor a maximum pane size.
