Our verdict
The W2S OMNI is where the Winbot line answers the oldest complaint about square window robots. A TruEdge scrubber lowers itself when the machine reaches a frame and spins at up to 200 rpm into the corner a cloth cannot reach, and a Quad-Edge mode works the four edges to within 1.1 cm. Suction rises to 8,000 Pa in standard mode, 3,000 while moving, with automatic pressure compensation, and the tank grows to 80 ml for 50 m² a fill. The station is the same idea as the W2 PRO OMNI's: a 5.2 kg base with a 4,500 mAh battery for 110 minutes without a socket, an auto-winding composite cable, a suction cup rated over 800 N and a 30-minute reserve if the power fails. It plans with WIN-SLAM 4.0, resumes, returns to start, handles panes tilted up to 45° and talks. It is also the heaviest robot of the five at 1.95 kg and, at 68 dB, the loudest Winbot, and Ecovacs does not enumerate its modes or a maximum pane.
