Our verdict
The S8 MaxV Ultra was Roborock's top machine before the Saros line, and the dock is still the most complete of its generation: 60 °C mop washing, warm air from two channels, a self-cleaning base, water refilling, automatic detergent dosing and about seven weeks of dust in a bag, with dirt detection that extends the wash and sends the robot back to stubborn spots. The robot vacuums at 10,000 Pa with the DuoRoller twin rubber brush, mops with the VibraRise 3.0 sonic pad plus a lifting 185 rpm edge mop, extends its FlexiArm side brush into corners, lifts brush and mop for carpet, boosts when its ultrasound finds a rug, recognises 73 object types with an RGB camera and 3D structured light, and stops the brush for pets. Roborock prints no runtime for the 5,200 mAh battery, no bin, weight, noise, threshold height, map count or warranty term. The German shop has sold out at €1,099, so the Polish 2,499 zł is the live price, where it costs less than the Saros 10 and more than the Qrevo Edge for the most complete dock of the three.
