Our verdict
The Q7 L5+ is the Q7 M5 with a dust bag, and £199.99 is a low price for a LiDAR robot that empties itself. It vacuums at 8,000 Pa through the JawScrapers-comb main brush and an anti-tangle side brush, boosts on carpet, mops with a static pad on a metered water flow that does not lift, and remembers three maps. The RockDock Plus holds about seven weeks of dust; that is the dock's only trick, since there is no washing, drying or refilling. The 3,200 mAh battery is rated for 150 minutes, the robot is 325 mm across and 99 mm tall, and the warranty is two years. Roborock's own FAQ says the Q10 series adds the structured-light obstacle module the Q7 lacks, so cables and socks are this machine's problem, and the page gives no weight, noise, bin or tank figure. It suits a tidy flat that wants the bag and nothing more; the Q10 S5+ is the same idea with 10,000 Pa and an obstacle sensor.
