Our verdict
The Q7 L5+ is the cheap end of Roborock's range with a dust bag underneath: a LiDAR robot that empties itself, sold through the British shop. It vacuums at 8,000 Pa through the JawScrapers-comb main brush and an anti-tangle side brush, boosts on carpet, mops with a static pad on a metered water flow and remembers three maps. The RockDock Plus holds about seven weeks of dust, and that is all the dock does: no washing, drying or refilling. The 3,200 mAh battery is rated for 150 minutes, the robot is 325 mm across and 99 mm tall, and the warranty is two years. Roborock's own FAQ says the Q10 series adds the structured-light obstacle module the Q7 lacks, so cables and socks are this machine's problem, and the page gives no weight, noise, bin or tank figure. It suits a tidy flat that wants the bag and nothing more; the Q10 S5+ is the same idea with 10,000 Pa and an obstacle sensor.

Suction and brushes
The manufacturer rates the suction at 8,000 Pa. That is less than most of the 114 robot vacuums we list. The main brush is the tangle-resistant type, with one side brush. On carpet the suction rises automatically.
Mopping
Mop system: static pad. The mop does not lift for carpet.
Navigation and obstacles
It navigates by LiDAR and avoids obstacles with none. It stores 3 floor plans. No-go zones can be drawn in the app.
The dock
The dock empties the bin. The dust bag lasts about 49 days.
