Our verdict
The Sora 10 is the cheapest Beatbot, and it still climbs walls, scrubs the waterline and works tanning ledges of at least 1 × 1 m from 35 cm of water. The pump is rated at 6,800 GPH, about 25,700 l/h, the same as the Sora 30 and Sora 70, and feeds a 5 l basket with a 150 μm mesh; a 3 μm basket is sold separately. Two front roller brushes turn at different speeds, a 17 cm inlet takes the debris, and one ultrasonic sensor among eleven steers S-shaped passes around obstacles. The 7,800 mAh battery runs up to five hours and refills in about three and a half through a titanium plug, and when it is done the robot parks at the waterline within reach of the edge. It is rated for 300 m², sealed to IPX68 and weighs 8.5 kg; it does not skim, there is no dock, and the warranty is two years.
