Our verdict
The LiDAX Ultra 1000 AWD is the LiDAX platform grown up: four hub motors, omni wheels and independent suspension take it up 80% slopes and over 6 cm obstacles, two floating discs cut 40 cm in one pass, and UltraTrim 2.0 keeps them under 3 cm from the edge. A 70 m 3D LiDAR and two 1080p cameras map the garden without antenna or wire, recognise more than 300 obstacle types and hold two maps with 150 zones. The 36 V 7.5 Ah battery holds 243 Wh, runs 150 to 170 minutes for 800 m² per charge and refills in 65 minutes. Theft protection with tracking, a geofence alarm, camera patrol and an AirTag slot comes with three years of 4G. It weighs 23.6 kg, runs at 66 dB, and the table lists neither a rain sensor nor a minimum passage width. The cheapest of the three AWD sizes, it is the right one for a sloped garden up to 1,000 m².

Lawn and terrain
The manufacturer rates it for lawns up to 1,000 m². That is less than most of the 52 robot mowers we list. It climbs slopes up to 80% (39°). That is more than 71% of the 52 robot mowers we list. It can manage up to 150 zones. All of its wheels are driven.
Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 400 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It cuts with 12 blades. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
The 243 Wh battery runs up to 2 h 30 min on one charge. A full charge takes about 1 h 5 min. The manufacturer states 66 dB. That is higher than most of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure.
