Our verdict
The 1600 AWD is the 1000 AWD with a larger area allowance and no other change: MOVA's own table lists the same 36 V 7.5 Ah battery, the same 150 to 170 minutes and 800 m² per charge, and the same 65-minute recharge in every column. The extra money buys the right to map 1,600 m², which the mower covers in two or three sessions with the same four hub motors, two floating 40 cm discs, 80% slope rating, 6 cm obstacle clearance and edge cutting to within 3 cm. The 70 m LiDAR with two cameras, night mowing, 150 zones, three years of 4G and the anti-theft package with camera patrol carry over unchanged, and so do the 23.6 kg, the 66 dB and the absence of a rain sensor. It is the right size for a sloped garden between 1,000 and 1,600 m²; a smaller lawn does not need it and a larger one wants the 2000 AWD.

Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 400 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It cuts with 12 blades. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
The 243 Wh battery runs up to 2 h 30 min on one charge. A full charge takes about 1 h 5 min. The manufacturer states 66 dB. That is higher than most of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure.
Safety and theft
It stops the blades when lifted or tilted and carries anti-theft protection. Weather sealing: IPX6.
