The Saros 20's 36,000 Pa in an 80 mm body with a retractable LiDAR instead of StarSight: 8.79 cm double thresholds, spinning pads, warm-water mopping, a dock that refills and re-washes dirty pads.

Our verdict
The Saros 20 Neo is the cheapest way into Roborock's 36,000 Pa Saros platform, and most of what makes the platform good survives the cut. A RetractSense LiDAR replaces the Saros 20's StarSight array and sinks into the body, so the robot gets into gaps only 7.95 cm high; chassis, mop and brush all lift, which carries it over a 4.5 cm sill or an 8.79 cm double step; and structured light, an RGB camera and the VertiBeam side laser recognise more than 300 objects. Two spinning pads mop with warm water the dock refills, with an edge mop beside the FlexiArm Arc brush, and the dock re-washes a pad it finds dirty and mops the spot again. Roborock leaves more off the page than usual: no battery, runtime, noise, bin or tank, no mop lift height, no drying claim and no carpet suction boost, only a 60 W rating and a carpet mode you switch on in the app. When read, it was listed only in the German shop.

Mopping
