Segway Navimow i205 AWD vs Mammotion YUKA mini 2 800

Two entry-level RTK mowers at one price: the Navimow has all-wheel drive and theft protection; the YUKA mini covers 800 m², not 500, and runs twice as long.

Verdict

The Segway Navimow i205 AWD has the higher Verdict Score, 75 to 71.

Both position by network RTK with a camera and nothing to install, both are rated for 45% slopes, both cut from 20 to 60 mm with five blades, both publish GPS tracking and a three-year warranty, and both list at the same price in the euro market. They are aimed at different lawns.

The Segway Navimow i205 AWD drives all four wheels, which is what keeps a 45% rating honest on wet grass, and publishes theft protection with a PIN lock and 20 zones. It is rated for 500 m² and runs 60 minutes per charge. The Mammotion YUKA mini 2 800 is a two-wheel-drive machine rated for 800 m², runs 120 minutes, cuts 190 mm wide against 180 mm, and publishes a 550 mm minimum passage; Segway does not publish one.

Our engine has the Segway ahead, 75 to 71, on terrain and features. If the lawn has a bank or gets slippery, the all-wheel drive is the reason to buy it. If the lawn is flat and larger than 500 m², the YUKA mini's area rating and runtime are the figures that matter, and the Segway simply is not rated for it.

Pros
  • Network RTK with no antenna, so the i-series' setup headache is gone
  • Three driven wheels with zero-turn steering
  • PIN lock, GPS tracking, lift and boundary alarms as standard
  • Network RTK and three cameras: no antenna, no wire, three years of 4G included
  • 10.6 kg, 55 cm passages and 45% slopes on rear-wheel drive
  • Two hours and 200 m² a charge from a 4.5 Ah battery
Cons
  • 180 mm deck and 125 m² per charge: an hour on, an hour off
  • Manual cutting-height adjustment
  • 45% slope rating, so a flat-lawn machine
  • Five zones, against ten on the 1000
  • Three cameras and satellites, no LiDAR: needs a view of the sky
  • 190 mm deck, so 800 m² takes four charges
Best for
  • Flat lawns up to 500 m² with a clear view of the sky
  • A first robot mower where budget decides
  • Small open lawns up to 800 m² with a clear view of the sky
  • A first robot mower on a tight budget

In green: the better figure where the direction is beyond argument, such as more lawn or less noise. Where it depends on your home, nothing is marked.
