Our verdict

Eufy's argument is that a camera alone is enough on a small garden, and for a simple lawn with defined borders it largely is. Setup is genuinely quick. The absence of satellite positioning shows on plots that need reliable, repeatable coverage rather than a good-enough pass.

Pros

  • No wire and no antenna — installation is a short job
  • Camera-based obstacle recognition
  • IPX6 sealing, better than several pricier rivals

Cons

  • No satellite positioning to fall back on when vision is unreliable
  • 40% slope limit
  • No GPS tracking if the machine is stolen

Best for

  • Small to mid-size gardens with clear borders
  • Buyers prioritising fast setup over mapping precision

Not recommended for

  • Shaded gardens or lawns bordered by similar-looking ground cover
  • Plots above 800 m²
