Our verdict
The YUKA mini 2 1000 gives a small garden the map without the mast. It positions by a 360° LiDAR with a 60 m range and two cameras, uses no RTK antenna and no satellites, and so keeps its place under trees where a satellite-only mower loses its fix. The deck is a single 190 mm disc with five blades at 20 to 60 mm, and the drive is rear-wheel only, rated for 45% slopes: enough for a bank, not for terraces. It passes 55 cm gaps, stores ten zones, includes three years of 4G and a three-year warranty, and weighs 10.9 kg at a stated 57 dB. The 6.1 Ah battery runs about 150 minutes, so 1,000 m² takes several sessions. No rain sensor, edge cutting or PIN lock is claimed. For a lawn up to 1,000 m² with trees and passages, it is the sensible first robot mower.
