Our verdict
The LUBA 2 AWD 5000 is built for difficult ground. Four driven wheels and an 80% slope rating suit banks and terraces, RTK positioning with camera recognition keeps it on course across a plot Mammotion rates at up to 5,000 m² and recommends at around 4,000 m², and the 400 mm deck cuts at 30 to 70 mm with three blades. Ten zones, a rain sensor, IPX6, 4G, GPS tracking, PIN lock and a 180-minute runtime per charge complete the sheet, with a two-year warranty. The trade-offs are real: the RTK antenna has to be sited with a clear view of the sky, the deck leaves an uncut strip at the lawn edge, the 800 mm minimum passage rules out narrow paths, and it is one of the more expensive machines in the category.
