Our verdict
The A3 AWD Pro 5000 is the 3500 with a bigger battery, and Dreame's page says so: the 36 V 10 Ah pack is fitted to the 5000, and with it the Pro covers 5,000 m² in 24 hours instead of 3,500. Everything else carries over: two blade discs cutting 40 cm at a pass, all-wheel drive rated for 80% slopes and 5.5 cm obstacles, a 70 m 360° LiDAR with two AI cameras that recognise over 300 obstacle types, EdgeMaster 2.0 holding the disc under 3 cm from the edge, and no RTK or wire. The German page adds what the family's US page did not: a three-year warranty and three years of link service. It still weighs 23.9 kg, runs at 65 dB and needs 80 cm passages, and Dreame gives no runtime or charging time. Over the 3500, the extra money buys area and nothing else.

Lawn and terrain
The manufacturer rates it for lawns up to 5,000 m². That is the highest of the 52 robot mowers we list. It climbs slopes up to 80% (39°). That is more than 71% of the 52 robot mowers we list. It can manage several zones. The narrowest passage it takes is 80 cm wide. All of its wheels are driven.
Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 400 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
The battery holds 360 Wh. The manufacturer states 65 dB. That is higher than most of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure. The manufacturer publishes no runtime figure.
Safety and theft
It stops the blades when lifted or tilted, carries anti-theft protection and locks with a PIN. Weather sealing: IPX6.
