Our verdict
The M9 is built for the lawns most robots are too wide for: compact enough for footpaths and tight corners, it cuts 20 cm with a five-blade disc at up to 150 m² an hour, mows to the edge and climbs 45%. It positions by full-band RTK, with a reference station in the box or network RTK over the built-in 4G module, and when trees or walls block the satellites, two 150° HDR cameras take over with visual odometry; the same cameras recognise 1,000+ obstacle types. The app sets the cutting height between 3 and 7 cm, schedules 20 zones around sunrise and sunset, reads the rain sensor to send it home, and the 4G gives live GPS tracking and theft alerts. Anthbot publishes no battery, runtime, charging time, weight or dimensions, states no warranty term, and the network RTK service is a three-month trial.
