Our verdict
The M5 is Anthbot's compact RTK mower for lawns up to 500 m². It positions by full-band RTK against the reference station in the box, or by network RTK over the built-in 4G with no station to set up, and when trees or walls hide the satellites its two 150° HDR cameras keep it on line by visual odometry; the same cameras recognise more than 1,000 obstacles. It cuts 20 cm with a five-blade disc at 3 to 7 cm set in the app, mows to the edge, climbs 45% and fits through 65 cm. Anthbot's table gives a 2.5 Ah, 45 Wh battery, 40 minutes a charge, an hour to recharge, 150 m² an hour and 9.8 kg. The 4G service is free for three months; the German page calls network RTK free of charge in one place and a three-month trial in another, the US page a separate subscription. The warranty is three years, two on the battery.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
