Our verdict
The LiDAX Ultra 800 is the cheapest of the three LiDAX sizes; only the ViAX 500 gets a LiDAR onto the lawn for less in MOVA's range, and the LiDAX is the one with the complete data sheet. A 70 m 3D LiDAR and a camera map the garden without antenna or wire, recognise more than 300 obstacle types and keep the disc under 5 cm from the edge. It cuts 20 cm wide between 3 and 10 cm, climbs 45% on rear-wheel drive, clears 4 cm obstacles and 60 cm passages, and stores two maps with up to 150 zones. The 4 Ah battery runs 60 to 80 minutes for 160 to 180 m² and recharges in an hour; the mower stays under 57 dB, is sealed to IPX6 and weighs 13.7 kg. The 4G link module costs extra on this size and the table lists no rain sensor. It suits a small garden where trees or walls block satellite signals.
