Our verdict
The LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD tops MOVA's mower range on the same AWD platform as the 1000 and 1600 AWD: four hub motors with omni wheels and independent suspension for 80% slopes and 6 cm obstacles, two floating discs cutting 40 cm in one pass to within 3 cm of the edge, a 70 m 3D LiDAR with two 1080p cameras, no antenna or wire, 300 obstacle types, two maps, 150 zones and night mowing. The battery is the family's 36 V 7.5 Ah at 243 Wh, 150 to 170 minutes and 800 m² per charge with a 65-minute top-up, so the full 2,000 m² is a three-charge job. Theft protection with tracking, alarms, camera patrol and an AirTag slot is included with three years of 4G. It is 23.6 kg, 66 dB and, like its siblings, lists no rain sensor. It costs the most of the three, but for a big sloped lawn full of trees it is the LiDAX to pick.

Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 400 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It cuts with 12 blades. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
The 243 Wh battery runs up to 2 h 30 min on one charge. A full charge takes about 1 h 5 min. The manufacturer states 66 dB. That is higher than most of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure.
