Our verdict

On paper the E15 Gen 2 matches the first E15 in size, cut and slope (60.3 × 39.4 × 31.8 cm, 203 mm from 25 to 75 mm, 40%) and raises the stated area to 1,000 m², between the E15's 800 and the E18's 1,200. It still steers by cameras alone, with no wire and no RTK station: the page says it mows while it maps and reaches zones up to 60 m apart, though the guide warns that the first auto-mapping run can take several hours. Two cameras with semantic segmentation avoid more than 500 obstacle types, it rides the edge at a distance set in the app, and it has rain and lift sensors. Unlike the first E15, it has a published battery: 93.24 Wh for 90 to 110 minutes of mowing, and as long to recharge. It weighs 11.6 kg, is rated 56 dB and IPX6, comes with a garage and reports its position by GPS over 4G, free at first and on a paid data plan after. eufy sells it in the US only, with two years of warranty.

  • No wire and no RTK station; mows while it maps

Cons

  • Cameras only, with no LiDAR or RTK to fall back on
  • 40% slopes on two-wheel drive
  • Cellular data is a paid plan after the free trial
  • Sold on eufy's US shop only
