Our verdict
The GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO is the A1600 with a bigger battery and a larger area rating: 7.5 Ah against 3 Ah and 3,000 m² against 1,600, recharged at 189 W in 70 minutes. Everything else is shared, from the HoloScope 360 navigation, a rotating LiDAR, a 3D ToF LiDAR and an AI camera with no wire or RTK, to the TruEdge trimmer that cuts to about 0 mm at walls and fences. The American spec list fills in what the German one omits: six blades on two discs at 3,000 rpm, 250 to 400 m² an hour, sensors for lift, collision and rain, and a 3.3 kg station. It cuts 33 cm wide at 3 to 9 cm, climbs 50% and weighs 18.3 kg. The runtime row prints no unit, so it stays blank; 4G needs an extra module, and the manual asks for slopes over 45% to be fenced off. Ecovacs Europe gives three years on the machine.
Pros
- 7.5 Ah battery for 3,000 m², recharged in 70 minutes
- Built-in TruEdge trimmer that cuts to about 0 mm at walls and fences
- Two LiDARs and a camera: no wire, no antenna, no RTK
- 33 cm cut with six blades on two discs, 3 to 9 cm from the app
- 50% slopes, 4 cm obstacles, IPX6 and a three-year warranty in Europe
Cons
- Runtime printed without a unit, so not recorded

- The manual asks for slopes over 45% to be fenced off
- Two-wheel drive and 18.3 kg
Best for
- Large lawns up to 3,000 m² with walls, fences and beds to trim along
- Gardens under trees or beside buildings, where Ecovacs says the LiDAR keeps its bearings
Not recommended for
- Lawns up to 1,600 m², which the A1600 covers with the same kit
- Buyers who expect 4G tracking without an extra module

In detail
Lawn and terrain
The manufacturer rates it for lawns up to 3,000 m². That is more than 83% of the 47 robot mowers we list. It climbs slopes up to 50% (27°). That is about the middle of the field. It can manage several zones. The narrowest passage it takes is 90 cm wide. Two wheels are driven.
Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion.
Cutting
The cutting width is 330 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 90 mm. It cuts with 6 blades. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
A full charge takes about 1 h 10 min. The manufacturer states 54 dB. That is the lowest of the 41 robot mowers with a published figure. The manufacturer publishes no runtime figure.
Safety and theft
It stops the blades when lifted or tilted, returns to the dock in rain and locks with a PIN. Weather sealing: IPX6.

Where to buy
Prices are read every night from the manufacturers' shops that list the machine, and shown as read. A price no read has confirmed for several days is marked with the day it was last seen. Where a week or more of readings exists, the lowest we recorded in the last 30 days is stated as well. RoboVerdict may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site.
