Our verdict
The QV 35S is the QV 35A with 10,000 Pa in place of 8,000, and otherwise the same recipe: twin spinning pads at up to 200 rpm that lift for carpet, an all-rubber floating main brush with an anti-tangle side brush, LiDAR with four maps, structured light for clutter and 2 cm thresholds. The dock empties the bin, washes the mops on a detachable base, dries them with cold air and refills the tank, and the robot answers to Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. Carpet is handled by strategies chosen per carpet type, with the main brush turning 10% faster at maximum power, and no suction boost is claimed. Roborock publishes no runtime for the 5,200 mAh battery, no bin, bag, weight, dimensions or noise figure, and the American shop gives a one-year warranty. It is the QV dock with a little more suction behind it; the extra 2,000 Pa is the whole difference from the 35A, so the choice between them comes down to that and to the price on the day.
