Our verdict

The E30 Ultra is the point where MOVA's washing dock meets an old motor. Suction is 7,000 Pa, the lowest in this catalogue, and the page is candid that the mops dry in the open air rather than under a heater, that the dock does not refill the robot and that no detergent is dosed. The rest is respectable for the money: an anti-tangle TriCut brush, pads that swing to the edge and lift 10.5 mm, 3DAdapt lasers for obstacles, ultrasonic carpet detection with a double pass, a 5,200 mAh battery for 260 minutes and 220 m² in quiet mode, and a bag that lasts 75 days. At €279 in Germany, with the Polish listing sold out, it is a washing dock for the price of a bare robot, attached to a robot that will not deep-clean a carpet.

Pros

  • Washing and emptying dock at €279
  • 260 minutes and 220 m² a charge
  • Anti-tangle TriCut brush, pads swing and lift 10.5 mm
  • Laser obstacle sensing and voice control
  • 3.82 kg, three-year warranty

Cons

  • 7,000 Pa, the lowest suction here
  • Mops air-dry without heat
  • No tank refill or detergent
  • No threshold, noise or wash temperature published

Best for

  • Small hard-floor flats that mop lightly
  • Buyers who want the dock chores done for the least money

Not recommended for

  • Carpet of any depth
  • Pet hair in volume
