Our verdict
The LiDAX Ultra 1200 is the 800 with a larger area allowance and, by MOVA's table, ten more square metres per charge; the battery is the same 4 Ah, the runtime the same 60 to 80 minutes and the recharge the same hour. It will therefore cover 1,200 m² in several sessions rather than one, which is how most robot mowers work anyway. Everything else carries over: the 70 m 3D LiDAR with a camera and no antenna or wire, 300 obstacle types, edges under 5 cm, a 3 to 10 cm cutting height on a 20 cm disc, 45% slopes on rear-wheel drive, 4 cm obstacles, 60 cm passages, two maps and 150 zones, 57 dB, IPX6 and 13.8 kg. The 4G module is still an extra and the table still lists no rain sensor. The step up from the 800 buys the rating and nothing else, which is fine if the garden needs it.

Lawn and terrain
The manufacturer rates it for lawns up to 1,200 m². That is about the middle of the field. It climbs slopes up to 45% (24°). That is less than most of the 52 robot mowers we list. It can manage up to 150 zones. The narrowest passage it takes is 60 cm wide. Two wheels are driven.
Navigation
It positions itself with Vision + LiDAR. No boundary wire is needed. Obstacles: camera + LiDAR fusion. GPS tracking and a 4G module are built in.
Cutting
The cutting width is 200 mm and the height adjusts from 30 to 100 mm. It cuts with 6 blades. It trims along the edges.
Battery, charging and noise
One charge runs up to 1 h. A full charge takes about 1 h. The manufacturer states 57 dB. That is lower than 70% of the 45 robot mowers with a published figure.
Safety and theft
It stops the blades when lifted or tilted and carries anti-theft protection. Weather sealing: IPX6.
