Our verdict
The A2 1200 is the mower for a garden that the A3 would find small, and its German page is unusually complete about it. OmniSense 2.0 pairs a 360-degree 3D LiDAR with 70 m of range and a 1080p HDR camera, so it maps 1,200 m² without an RTK antenna or a boundary wire and recognises obstacles by image as well as shape. It cuts 22 cm wide between 3 and 7 cm high, keeps under 5 cm from the edge, climbs 50% slopes on two hub-driven wheels and mows 800 m² a day in standard mode or 1,600 in the efficient one. It stays under 55 dB, is rated IPX6, weighs 16.3 kg, stores two maps, warns when lifted, tracks itself over 4G and Google Maps with a year of service included, and carries a three-year warranty. The battery is 4 Ah with a 3 A charger and no voltage, runtime or charging time stated, there is no rain sensor in the table, and the drive is two-wheel, so the A3's 80% slopes are out of reach. At €849, reduced from €1,399, it is the cheapest LiDAR mower in this catalogue.
