Our verdict

The Z60 Ultra Roller Standalone is the Z60 for a narrow gap: its dock is 278 mm wide against the Complete's 433 mm, and it costs €50 less. The roller is 25.6 cm wide, pressed at 4,100 Pa, wetted by 12 nozzles and pushed 4.3 cm sideways to reach the wall, lifting 14 mm under a cover on carpet. The DToF sensor retracts to 96 mm, a 3D structured-light scanner with a side laser and colour recognition reads more than 200 obstacle types, and a 6,400 mAh battery sits behind 26,000 Pa of suction and a DuoBrush. The dock refills the mop water, dries with warm air, doses detergent from a 600 ml module and empties into a 3.2 litre bag for 100 days. What the page leaves out matters: no wash temperature, no threshold height, no runtime, weight or noise, and 2,000 Pa less suction than the Complete. For a kitchen corner the Complete's dock will not fit, it is the sensible choice.

Pros

  • Dock only 278 mm wide
  • 25.6 cm roller at 4,100 Pa that extends 4.3 cm and lifts 14 mm
  • Sensor down to 96 mm, structured light with a side laser, 200+ obstacles
  • Refill, drying, 600 ml detergent module, 100 days of dust
  • €599 with a three-year warranty

Cons

  • No wash temperature or threshold height stated
  • No runtime, weight or noise published
  • 26,000 Pa, under the Complete
  • German shop only

Best for

  • Kitchens and hallways where a wide dock will not fit
  • Hard-floor flats on a budget

Not recommended for

  • Homes with door sills, since none is quoted
  • Buyers who want a hot wash on paper
